All cabins are air-conditioned and have en suite facilities with shower and toilet, closet and cabinet. The large suites have an exceptional 20 square metres with a separate living area. On arrival you will find a welcome fruit basket in your cabin. It is the personal touches that make a cruise aboard RV Thurgau Exotic II so memorable, such as staff waiting with a welcome drink and hot towel after every excursion, water always being available no matter what time of day and there are often extra ‘surprises’ on excursions – perhaps a special cocktail is served on a boat trip, a barbecue is served ashore or a local dance group entertain you. Throughout your cruise, staff are friendly and willing to help with any request. They often put on cooking demonstrations or other cultural presentations to add to your understanding of this fascinating country. OUR VIEW “We are all inexplicably attracted to some destinations and I have always had a fascination with the Golden Land; a fascination that I was fortunate enough to realise earlier this year on our maiden voyage along the Irrawaddy aboard the MS Thurgau Exotic II. After the political struggle that the country has endured in its recent history we seemed to be in the right place at the right time; a place where the warmth and welcoming nature of its people ranked high up among their assets and a time that we found rapidly changing. The cruise allowed us to absorb their culture, nature, and often intriguing way of life. This was a true voyage of discovery on the charming comfort of the MS Thurgau Exotic II and in the caring hands of her Team” Cesar Perez, Tour Manager |
